Naponska i strujna referenca i 16bit ADC

Vec neko vreme gledam da napravim ovakav uredjaj https://essentialscrap.com/vref/ , prvi pcb nije uspeo, danas mi je stigao drugi pcb i odmah sam ga polemio i na kratko probao, za sada nisam odradio neka precizna merenja jer nemam sa cime, onako na prvu unimerom mereno izmedju tacke gndref i vref imam tacno 2.048V i izmedju tacke +5Vout i IREF tacno 2.048mA, deluje sasvim stabilno i ok, jednom kada budem imao vremena cu pogledati kako izgleda mereno na ADC, temu sam otvorio pa kako kome ovo bude interesantno. Dimenzija pcb je 29x57mm. Napaja se preko usb, litijumskom baterijom. R4 je precizni otpornik 1k (0.01%) 71-Z201T1K0000TB, dole je bom, gerber, easyeda projekt source code, sve potrebno za izradu. Pinovi su trnovi 1mm. Mogucnosti su svakakve jer uz ove dve reference postoji 16bit-ni adc sa izolovanim i2c pa moze da se spaja na neki eksterni kontrolni uredjaj na primer raspberry pi.

Mozda formula nije bas najbolja ali pokusao sam da izmerim otpornik od 220 ohm, u adc na A1 kanal merim napon baterije a U kanalu A0 napon na donjem kraju otpornika gde nam je poznat Iref, struja je poznata i ona prati naponsku referencu znaci 2.0474mA konstantno, otpornik je spojen izmedju +5V baterije i Iref, i finalno furmula bi trebala da glasi ako ne gresim:

(naponbaterije - naponnaotporniku) / Iref

rezultat i nije tako los:

Rezultat i nije tako los sa obzirom da je na istoj bateriji spojen i raspberry pi zero w i to verovatno daje neku nestabilnost. Ovo bi moglo da se zbroji i podeli na broj uzoraka, recimo na broj uzoraka u sekundi i da se dobije osrednja vrednost otpornika sto i nije los rezultat. Imamo i jos dva kanala slobodna na ADC na koji bi mogli direktno da zakacimo Vref i da ujedno imamo i tu vrednost koju prati Iref tako da na svakom samplu imamo poznate i te vrednosti za jos bolji rezultat.

Edit:
Ovaj program dole, doradio sam ga dodavanjem merenja u 50 semplova, u svakom semplu meri sve vrednosti pre nego prodju kroz formulu za izracunavanje otpornosti otpornika. Direktno meri napon baterije, pad napona na otporniku i Vref. Nisam ga probao jer sam rastavio sklop trenutno pa cu probati jednom kada budem ponovo spojio za probu, bi trebalo da izmeri prilicno tacnu vrecnost otpornika, na IN2 je spojen vref, na IN0 donji kraj otpornika + Iref, na IN1 gornji kraj otpornika + (+5V), rezultat 50 semplova se zbraja i na kraju deli sa 50, to bi trebalo da daje tacnu vrednost otpornika. Zamisao ove sprave je bila da se njome radi precizno uparivanje otpornika vrednosti do 2.5k ohm, dali sam uspeo ne znam jos uvek, mislim da jesam? Revizija bi trebala da bude dodavanje preklopnika za izbor R4 ref otpornika od kojeg nam zavisi strujna referenca od koje direktno zavisi i range merenog otpornika. I dodavanje mcu po izboru kao i displeja. Takodje skutijavanje uredjaja uz dodavanje litium baterije sa svojim sklopom za punjenje. Bilo bi odlicno da se pribave kelvin pipalice pa tako da se modifikuje i doradi shema i pcb sa svim ovim osobinama koje sam nabrojao, mislim da bi moglo sve skupa da kosta u okvirima $100 a da bude vrlo korektan namenski uredjaj? Lepo to radi! +/-1 count od 16bit A/D konvertera.

Samo ti matematika nesto nije dobra za pretvaranje u napon, mora da pokaže razlicite rezultate (ili formatiranje/konverzija u float nije dobra ili nisi stavio tacke za brojeve, nije isto 1 i 1.0).

Kada skupljaš više semplova pa nadješ prosek to se generalno zove "Oversampling", radi se sa skupljanjem RAW koji su za nas Integer i posle kad se deli trebaš da navedeš npr x/100.0 (dakle bitno je ovo .0 iza broja) da bi rezultat bio float i da bi ga korektno prikazao.

Izabrao si ADC na koji ne može da se priključi externa naponska referenca jer ima svoju internu.
Većina A/D ima Vref ulaz gde se dovodi referetni napon i on odredjuje maksimalnu naponsku vrednost za konverziju.

Tehnički može da se potroši jedan kanal sa kojim sempluješ napon sa reference i da njega uzmeš kao osnova za kalkulaciju, praktično radiš diferencialno merenje izmedju tvoje externe reference za koju znaš koja je vrednost (izmerio si i upisao u program i predpostavljaš da je taj napon stabilan) i napona sa ostalih kanala koje meriš.

Kada imaš moćan ARM kontroler možeš da se igraš sa tom matematikom u floating-point domenu koliko hoćeš i nije problem da se tako rešavaju referetne vrednosti za A/D konverter.

Kod manjih kontrolera biraju napon reference tako kao ova od 2.048V jer je to tačno 12bit za 12bit A/D konvertere i onda im je jedan bit "okruglo" 0.001V tj 1mV i to je lako za račun jer može da se ostane u Integer domenu sa matematikom da se ne prelazi u floating-point koji je za male kontrolere baš naporan.

Moguce da nesto nisam dobro matematicki odradio a vrlo je moguce da moze i na drugaciji nacin da se radi, nisam jos osmislio sta treba da uradim sa ads1115 da povecam preciznost merenja, sada kako je podesen adc koristi najgori moguci FSR=6.144 sto je nekih 187uV po LSB a ne mogu da prebacim u glavi koja bi formula bila za izracunavanje otpornosti ako postavim FSR na 0.256 tada je LSB 7.8uV, nesto verovatno ne radim kako treba, buni me formula za izracunavanje gde imamo poznat R4=1k i imamo poznatu struju koja je proporcionalna naponskoj referenci i R4 sto je 2.04737 mA. Verovatno i DUT nije prikljucen na uredjaj kako treba, ja DUT kacim izmedju baterije (+5V) i Iref. A adc kacim takodje na te dve tacke. I onda koristim formulu, mozda i pogresno:

Znaci merim tri stvari, napon reference (da bi proporcionalno tome dobio vrednost struje jer sklop je takav da struja zavisi od R4 i naponske reference), napon baterije, pad napona na otporniku. Mozda nema potrebe to da radim, upravo zbog toga sto nisam prebacio u glavi kako to treba da se uradi. A zbog napona kojeg treba da ocitam na bateriji i na otporniku, znaci 5.10V upravo ne mogu da smanjim vrednost FSR na adc nego koristim najveci moguci ujedno najneprecizniji.

Dali to znaci da ako bi postavio FSR na 0.256V onda na DUT morao da imam napon 0.256V ? Ta konekcija DUT-a na sklop mi nije naj jasnija, i koje tacke merim ADC-om. Mozda radim sve pogresno! Verovatno da moze cak da se koriste dva kanala adc-a u registrima podesena na DIFF i sa FSR=0.256 da se izmeri diferencijalno samo te dve tacke na otporniku? Adc ima i svoj komparator koji takodje moze za nesto da se upotrebi. Dosta mogucnosti postoji samo treba znati sta i kako : )

Ih pa da, ja to sve radim pogresno, nema potrebe da merim bateriju nego samo napon na otporniku, ovo su novi rezultati. Podeseno na DIFF (kanal 0 i kanal 1), FSR postavljen na 0.512, izmeren napon na otporniku diferencijalno:

Edit:
rezultat jednog sampla ponovljen nekoliko puta, bez merenja naponske reference, super rezultat! Kada se doda oversampling i izmeren napon reference u formulu i podeli sa brojem sampla rezultat ce da bude odlican! : )

Samo jos da mi se rascisti u glavi koji nam je range otpornika ako nam je poznata struja 2.048mA i koji je FSR za koji otpornik, na otporniku male vrednosti hmm FSR bi trebao da bude podesen na najmanji moguci ili ako je veci otpornik koji FSR bi trebalo postaviti ali otom potom odlicno je ovo. Promenom R4 menjamo i konstantnu struju pa recimo dodavanjem veceg otpornika od recimo 10k na R4 struja bi nam bila 0.2048mA, time bi se mogao meriti i miliohm otpornik. Ako vam je intersantno mozemo napraviti jedan uredjajcic od ovoga za merenje otpora.

Doradio sam program i uneo u formulu izmereni Vref koji se meri na svakom samplu, Vref je spojen na AIN2, a otpornik na dva kanala diferencijalno meren napon pomocu AIN0 i AIN1, i uradio sam 3 ponovljena merenja od 250 samplova koji su podeljeni na kraju sa 250, greska je 0.01 ohm, nije ovo lose! : )

Ah sad vidim da je i SPS=250 prevelik, za jos precizniji rezultat treba ga smanjiti na SPS=64 da se dobije efektivnih 16bit-ova , i treba dodati jedan Cdiff izmedju ova dva diff kanala gde nam je DUT

Edit:
Popravljen program na 64 SPS, nisam probao jer sam spakovao sve van stola, trebalo bi da je to sad sve ok.
