Ta preventivna mera sa otpornicima na ulazima je zaštita od "stray" kapacitivnosti ulaza prema ostalom svetu.
To je veoma poželjna mera ako su pcb dugačke ili ako je IC u podnožju.

Inače, možda je nejveći "spisak" preventivnih mera na tu temu dat u DS od LM111,211,311.
